French supercar maker Bugatti has officially launched its Sur Mesure (or acclimatized in French) customization program by unveiling a one-off Chiron Pur Sport wearing stretch- inspired outfit. According to Bugatti, Sur Mesure responds to an ever- growing demand for substantiated Bugattis like the Chiron Les Legendes du Ciel and the Divo Lady Bug.
Drawing alleviation from the Bugatti Type 51 racing auto of fabulous racing motorists Louis Chiron and Achille Varzi at the 1931 French Grand Prix, the client wants a Chiron Pur Sport that immortalizes the racing heroics of quaint Bugattis. Wearing a handpainted number 32 totem and Baby Blue makeup job, the creative minds at Bugatti Sur Mesure worked to conceptualize a Chiron like no other.
As anticipated, the client wanted a hand painted number 32 totem on the doors to recognize Chiron’s palm, and Bugatti Sur Mesure responded with aplomb. Look closer, and you ’ll find those red accentuations on the bodywork that act fading stripes are hundreds of atomic EB ensigns, each applied by hand.
The number 32 motif continues inside the cabin. There are “ 32” totems on the headrests plus fading EB stripes on the door panels. Also, the Grand Prix moniker is on the transmission lair and door blocks, reminding the client of Chiron’s major palm at the French Grand Prix.

This customization program won’t be part of a TV program – as far as we ’ve been told – so in that, it stands as far as possible from the most successful pop culture customs TV show ever made Pimp My Lift. And given the intended client for Bugatti’s new program, avoiding the heritage of the MTV program is presumably well- advised.
