LG’s exit from the smartphone request was n’t exactly unanticipated but also relatively sad. It left numerous suckers hanging and a many dreams unfulfilled. The assiduity’s first rollable phone, for illustration, would have come from LG, but will noway come to pass. The company did promise it would n’t incontinently abandon possessors of its being phones, but its capability to stay on top of effects has n’t exactly been cheering. That said, a surprise update gives possessors of the odd LG Wing one last gift, presumably the last one it’ll ever get.
he LG Wing is maybe the epitome of LG’s daring, imagination, and insanity, all at the same time. It formerly tried the alternate screen result to the phone screen size problem, so it decided to go off in a fully different direction. The result was a smartphone that was quirky, unique, and, most importantly, memorable.
Unfortunately, those are presumably the onky good effects about it. In our review, we noted how its swinging screen trick worked well, but only with the veritably small number of apps that actually took advantage of that point. In nearly all other aspects, the LG Wing turned out to be a dud, but that does n’t mean it did n’t have its share of suckers and possessors.
It seems that LG has n’t forgotten about those, at least not yet. Verizon, the exclusive mate for this phone in the US, just rolled out an important Android 11 update for the phone. It does n’t detail the changes it made on top, but the update to Android alone is formerly a huge deal.
Unfortunately, it’s also veritably late. The LG Wing launched in 2020 with Android 10 from 2019. LG promised three Android updates, not three times of updates. In proposition, the phone should admit Android 13 eventually. LG, sorely, is n’t exactly known for its speedy and harmonious update performance, making that promise a little doubtful.
